Turcon® Stepseal® V
A single-acting Trelleborg O-Ring energized rod seal with hydrostatic ventilation for use in dynamic applications. Prevents pressure build-up between seals in all service conditions. Low friction with no stick-slip, minimal break out force and high wear resistance. Recommended for use with a secondary rod seal in Turcon® material, together with a double-acting Excluder® or Scraper.

A development of thorough benchmarking and performance testing, Turcon® M12 offers low friction, high wear resistance and costs on par with standard bronze-filled compounds. This material is designed to be the first choice for seals used with linear motion, replacing standard (medium-filled) industrial bronze-filled compounds. Used in article numbers ending in M12N and M12V.

Commercial Description:
Turcon® T46 is a blend of PTFE, bronze, and a proprietary Turcon® filler and is backed by years of time-tested performance and offers a balance of performance and cost. This material has a high extrusion resistance and has very good wear properties. For medium to heavy applications with reciprocating movements in mineral oils and other media with good lubrication. Used in article numbers ending in T46N and T46V.

Commercial Description:
A 70 durometer, NBR elastomer. The properties of the nitrile rubber depend mainly on the ACN content which ranges between 18 % and 50 %. In general it has good mechanical properties with an operating temperature range of between -30 °C and +100 °C. NBR is mostly used with mineral based oils and greases and is a good choice for standard applications. Used also as an energizer in T46N, M12N, Z20N, and Z52N.

A 70 durometer FKM. FKM is an elastomer material known especially for its non-flammability, low gas permeability and excellent resistance to ozone, weathering, and ageing. The operating temperatures of the fluorocarbon rubber range between -20 °C and +200 °C (for a short period of time up to +230 °C). FKM is also often used with mineral based oils and greases at high temperatures. Used as an energizer in T46V and M12V
